About 6 and 40 Brewery

Following a successful career in the automotive industry, longtime Colorado residents Thomas Schurmann and his wife Eileen opened 6 and 40 Brewery to celebrate vintage cars, craft beer and local community.  Based in Lakewood, CO, the brewery and taproom is a destination for homebrewers and craft beer enthusiasts, featuring 20 handcrafted beers and seltzers on tap and an open door to the Brew Shop. Highboy Thiolized NZ Cold IPA
A hybrid style that really does not fit neatly into any one category, Highboy started with the grain bill of a kolsch, a hefty dose of Motueka mash hops, NZH-214 whirlpool hops, and Nelson Sauvin and Moutere dry hops. Fermented with a thiolized lager yeast, Sauvignon Blanc and overripe peaches dominate the nose, while a soft bitterness and clean finish make for a refreshing and juicy tasting experience.
