6 and 40 Brewery Midsummer CeleBEERtion

From 12-9pm on Saturday, July 23, 6 and 40 Brewery is throwing a Midsummer CeleBEERtion at 883 Parfet St, Unit J.
“This date marks not only the anniversary of the first batch of beer ever brewed at 6 and 40 Brewery, but our wedding anniversary as well,” says owner Tom Schurmann. “Eileen and I named our first beer ‘32 Coupe in celebration of the legendary car and our 32 years together. I couldn’t ask for a better co-pilot!”
Event attendees will enjoy live Rhythm & Blues music from Roots & Rhythm Duo from 2pm-4pm. DipTheSandwich, a pop-up concept by Denver Chef Jeremy Song (Turtle Boat), will be on hand offering gourmet sandwiches. Yard games, food and drink and an opportunity to meet the brewers (we call them, “Mechanics”) round out the party.
“6 and 40 Brewery will be releasing a few taproom-only beers with extremely limited availability, like Cara Cara Vanilla Direct Diesel Hazy IPA,” says Head Wrench José Quinones. “The current lineup of beers, hard seltzers and non-alcoholic options are fun and flavorful, with something for everyone.”

Following a successful career in the automotive industry, longtime Colorado residents Thomas Schurmann and his wife Eileen opened 6 and 40 Brewery to celebrate vintage cars, craft beer, and local community. Based in Lakewood, CO, the brewery and taproom is a destination for homebrewers and craft beer enthusiasts, featuring 20 handcrafted beers and seltzers on tap and an open door to Tom’s Brew Shop.
