Collaboration Fest 2022

Are you going to Collaboration Fest 2022 at the Fillmore tomorrow night? 6 and 40 will be debuting Orange Is The New Stout – a carrot cake Blonde Stout brewed in collaboration with @CoalMineAveBrewing. The owners of Coal Mine Ave Brewery were customers of Tom’s Brew Shop, so the mechanics at 6 and 40 Brewery wanted to scale up a collaboration to reflect our common homebrew roots. When a brewery and off-leash dog park collaborates with a classic car and 1960s gas station-themed brewery, the only result that makes sense is a super modified hybrid of two styles. We’ve upped the RPMs of a Blonde Stout with all the ingredients of a classic carrot cake: carrot, cinnamon, raisins, vanilla and walnuts. This beer may not be street legal, but it might help you Lose the Leash!

Dubbed as one of the most unique and creative beer festivals in the world, Collaboration Fest is an annual beer festival hosted by the Colorado Brewers Guild. The Colorado Brewers Guild is a non-profit trade association representing Colorado craft breweries and brewpubs founded in 1995. CBG sponsors various beer events each year, such as the Colorado Pint Day, Colorado Brewers Rendezvous, Colorado Stong, and the Collaboration Fest. All of which are designed to increase the awareness and appreciation of Colorado brewed beer.

Collaboration Fest will celebrate its seventh year after being canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic. It will feature guild members teaming up with fellow local and national brewers to create unique and interesting beers.
