Davy Jones Fryer

Todd and Brian Powell grew up on the beautiful central coast of New Jersey, where they spent their summers running on the sandy beaches and pulling loads of crabs out of Barnegat Bay for their mother to cook up for dinner. Coming from a food-centric family, they learned from an early age, firstly, that you have to taste everything and, secondly, that the preparing and sharing of food is one of the greatest expressions of love and community. They both love to cook, to eat, to cook together and to feed people. Today, Davy Jones Fryer serves up authentic American fish fry and classic New England cuisine to the people of Denver, CO. Dishes include:

FISH FRY
Crispy, seasoned, beer-battered and fried Cod served with fries, slaw, tartar sauce and lemon wedge. We obviously also have malt vinegar.

SHRIMP FRY
Beer battered, fried shrimp served with fries, slaw, lemon wedge and fresh cocktail sauce.

CALAMARI
It’s just like Galamad, only spelled and pronounced correctly – Crispy fried Squid, served with a lemon wedge and… yes, marinara. E Buono.

SAMPLER
A little bit of everything delicious, minus the softshell crabs. They get their own spotlight.

FRENCH FRIES
Classic, deep fried potatoes. They can do no wrong.

HUSH PUPPIES (subject to availability)
A serving of 5 hush puppies with our signature Comeback Sauce for dipping

FRIED COD SAMMY (subject to availability)
A delicious battered and fried softshell crab atop our signature spicy slaw with a slice of tomato on a brioche bun. You’ve never had anything like this.

NEW ENGLAND CLAM CHOWDER (subject to availability)
An absolute classic for the cold-weather months. Our New England Clam Chowder is PACKED with the fresh clams and potatoes this seaboard chowder is famous for.

ZUCCHINI FRIES (subject to availability)
A basket of delicious zucchini dry-dredged in our signature flour and seasoning mix, and fried to perfection. Try it with our Ranch Dressing.
