Mr. Kolache

kolache [kuh-LAH-chee]: traditionally, kolache are Czech pastries mostly reserved for weddings and featuring cream cheese, poppy seeds, or fruit. But when the Czech moved to Texas, they added all kinds of fillings, including sausage, which in Texas are called “klobasnek.” At Mr Kolache, we’ve take inspiration from the both the Czech and the Texas traditions — Tex-Cech? — and created a Colorado version. We offer some traditional styles, some Texas inspired, and some all our own. When you stop by, you’ll most likely meet Owner/Manager Josh. Like so many others, Josh took the pandemic opportunity to start a business he enjoys with a few friends. This is his full-time gig, and he hopes you enjoy what Mr Kolache delivers.
