Style: Oyster Stout
Description: Oysters and many other ingredients were historically added to beer to improve clarity and soften the water. Homebrewer Jay Thomas made a delicious oyster stout that we selected as our Pro-Am entry to GABF 2024 at Soup it Up! The beer is effectively an Irish Export Stout with oyster shell, meat and liquor added at various points in the boil.
